About

The Acropolis, Athens, Greece. (January 2020)

Hi, I’m Matty, an Aussie who is a huge advocate for travel, and a foodie. I am a great believer that tourism is a greatest agent to help preserve historic sights and cultures and the break down prejudice. I have a certification in Tour Guiding, Diploma of Travel and Tourism Management,  a Bachelor of Tourism Management (Heritage and Tourism) and I am currently studying a Master of Research (Sustainable/Gastronomy Tourism) while working part time as a Tour Guide in stunning Sydney, Australia!

Taj Mahal, Agra, India. (October 2022).

So far I have travelled to a mere 36 countries, and there are so many more to see! I am always on the lookout for a great deal and can usually be found studying (for the next adventure…)

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. (December 2019)

I am quite the foodie. Isn’t food one of the things that bring people together? Don’t we all travel to try experience cultures and their cuisines?

Chitwan National Park, Nepal. (November 2022).

By learning the worlds history, its languages, and by having an awareness of cultures  I am constantly being changed by travel and tourism.

This blog is about my travels, the historical places I visit and my food adventures, around the world and at home!
