What an interesting year 2012 was. From the 1st January till 31 December, I flew on 12 flights (lower than some years) on 5 airlines  including Garuda Indonesia, Lion Air, Jetstar and Vietnam Airlines which I reviewed on freakyflier.com. I flew Business Class and Economy Class and visited two overseas destinations, Indonesia and Vietnam.

There were thousands of visitors from 77 countries who read freakyflier.com,  most were from Australia with the USA and Indonesia coming close second and third.

My most read post was Jumbo Hotel Stockholm, which I posted in 2010, the most read post from 2012 was A Royal Tour of Sydney and Ancient Buddhist Temple Borobudur.

My top commentor was the lovely Lorraine from notquitenigella.com. If you haven’t seen her blog yet, check it out, its great, she works hard and has some fabulous stories, its no wonder she is Australia’s top food and travel Blogger!  She has been an inspiration, a mentor and helped me tremendously throughout 2012, thank you Lorraine and Happy New Year!

So where to in 2013? Well I already have three trips booked for January, February and March to regional NSW, Queensland and Victoria including the Australian Airshow and I’ll be travelling by train, coach and of course plane with more Australian and international trips penciled in for throughout the year, so stay tuned and Happy New Year!
