This might sound pretty silly but it’s a simple trick that will warm your roll slightly and make the rock hard butter spreadable.
Before tucking into your hot meal which has come straight from the galley’s hot oven simply place the bread on top.
Same with that rock hard butter, leave it for a few moments on top of the foil, if you’re not so famished, and voila the butter will be easily spreadable.

Haha I do this too! Sometimes I put the pat of butter underneath the tray too. Although sometimes I wonder why I bother because the bread is so unpalatable hehe. Hey FF, can I ask which pay to enter lounge do you recommend at Bangkok airport?
